Since 21st January 2026, the College of Science and Technology (CST) has been a hub of activity as faculty members and non-teaching staff work tirelessly with excitement and enthusiasm to prepare for the upcoming RUB Annual Faculty Meet. Preparations, which are still ongoing, reflect the community’s strong commitment to ensuring a seamless, impactful, and memorable event.
The Annual Faculty Meet, organized as the inaugural “A Hundred Ideas Summit,” is envisioned as a transformative platform to harness the creativity, experience, and collective wisdom of faculty across the Royal University of Bhutan. The Summit aims to inspire innovative thinking, foster collaboration, and generate 100 actionable ideas to strengthen academic excellence, research, operational efficiency, global engagement, and institutional branding.
In alignment with these objectives, CST faculty and staff have been energetically engaged in extensive behind-the-scenes work. Preparations include arranging convention and meeting halls, setting up entrances and ceremonial décor, preparing seating and stage arrangements, and readying dining facilities. Essential logistics, such as food service, water stations, sanitation, certificates, and prizes, have also been meticulously organized. Simultaneously, infrastructure maintenance, painting, landscaping, and debris removal are being carried out to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all participants.
The dedication of CST’s faculty and non-teaching staff goes beyond routine preparation; it embodies teamwork, shared responsibility, and institutional pride, powered by genuine enthusiasm. Their tireless and spirited efforts are paving the way for a Faculty Meet that not only achieves its goals but also reflects the collaborative spirit, professionalism, and vision of CST and the Royal University of Bhutan.
