Information- RUB Faculty Meet 2026

To ensure smooth planning and coordination of the RUB Faculty Meet 2026 at the College of Science and Technology, the following is the important logistical information for all participants.

Since it is a large event with over 500 attendees, no bottled water will be served to minimise plastic waste. Safe drinking water collection points will be made available.

1 Reporting Location, Time, and Date

All participants are requested to check into their respective hostels as per their room bookings.
The check-in counter will be open from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on 1 February 2026. Rooms will be ready and available only from 1 February 2026.

For your convenience, appropriate signage and directional indicators will be placed at various
locations across the campus to ensure smooth navigation.

2 Accommodation

All OVC Executives and Presidents shall be accommodated in the College Guest House, while all others shall be accommodated in the following student hostels:

All participants to choose your own rooms through the online room booking portal, as per the designated hostel as listed below;

2.1 Room Occupancy

4 Infirmary

For Health/Medical support during the Summit, the College has an Infirmary with a Senior Clinical Officer.

5 Code of Conduct

During the three-day stay in the college, all are expected to adhere strictly to the following guidelines:

5.1 Smoking is strictly prohibited in common rooms, halls, and all public places.

5.2 All must observe silence hours from 9:00PM to 6:00AM.

5.3 Individuals shall be held responsible for any damage to rooms or facilities during their stay.

5.4 Painting, writing, or graffiti of any kind on hostel walls is prohibited.

5.5 All electrical appliances, including lights and fans, must be switched off when leaving the room.

5.6 Littering within the residential areas is prohibited.

Help CST to serve better and all are requested to leave the rooms clean and free of waste while vacating the hostel rooms.
